Our Heritage & Legacy
Bishop Herman College was founded on 28th February 1952 by the Dutch Missionaries of the Catholic Church. Named after Bishop Auguste Herman, the college has grown from its humble beginnings to become one of the most prestigious secondary institutions in Ghana.
BHOBU (Bishop Herman Old Boys’ Union) was established to carry forward the torch of excellence ignited at the college. Our union is built on the pillars of brotherhood, service, and unwavering support for our alma mater.
Today, BHOBU members are found in every sphere of life — from leadership in government and academia to pioneers in industry and the arts. We remain united by our shared history and the common goal of giving back to the institution that shaped us.
